In the past, film star Cameron Diaz has hinted that she doesn't want to have children.
Ever.
But according to the July issue of UK Cosmopolitan, all bets may now be off.
"I never say never," Diaz, 36, tells the magazine. "I don't know what's going to happen. I could end up adopting half a dozen kids, or I could end up being the next Octomom-- who fricking knows!"
The revised outlook on motherhood isn’t the only change taking place in Diaz’s life. The actress, who stars in My Sister's Keeper, which opens next Friday, admits that she has changed considerably over the last twelve months.
"The past year has been totally transformative. I'm a completely different person. 100 percent."
There was, after all, a time when their adoring fans could never picture Angelina Jolie or Madonna to be doting parents of scores of children. Perhaps Cameron Diaz will be the latest to join the list of celebrity moms who have undergone a similar transformation.
But don't hold your breath.
