Would breast reduction hurt Jessica Simpson's career?
Jessica Simpson's chest has never gotten more attention then it has this week.
As one reporter so eloquently phrased it: many female stars of film and television have had to pay good money to acquire the "assets" that Jessica Simpson naturally possesses.
But during the past week, Jessica Simpson found herself in a high-profile Twitter exchange with Dolly Parton about the blessings and the burdens that come with being busty.
As a result of both Dolly Parton and Jessica Simpson publicly acknowledging the physical drawbacks (especially back pain) that accompany their larger-than-life lady lumps, some fans have begun urging Jessica Simpson to take care of her discomfort and undergo breast reduction surgery.
But others were quick to pose a question that, while harsh and insulting to Jessica Simpson, remains on the mind of many: would having breast reduction surgery negatively impact Jessica Simpson's career.
Although Jessica Simpson is a remarkably talented singer and accomplished actress, it would be a natural consideration - no pun intended - to weigh the professional risks against the personal benefits of such a procedure.
But would Jessica Simpson ever really go through with it?
Time will tell.
