B-Boys united!

The hottest gig on the planet right now? Well, that would be this week’s festivities in Washington, DC.  And we can’t help but notice that many of the artists playing concerts around the presidential inauguration have names beginning with a B. Two days before Barack Obama is sworn in as President of the United States of America -- not just any president, of course, but the first African American president – a star-studded free concert at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington (Jan. 18) features Bono, Beyonce, Bruce (Springsteen), (Garth) Brooks and (Mary J.) Blige. Over at DC’s 9:30 club, Monday, the Beastie Boys celebrate the head B-Boy's inauguration with an all-ages show benefiting Rock The Vote.  Click here for tickets.
