The name Ronson immediately brings to mind siblings Mark and Samantha, however, before those enfant terribles claimed the surname, when it came to rock, Mick Ronson ruled the moniker. So, meet Lisa Ronson, daughter of Mick, who most famously performed as David Bowie’s guitarist during the glam-rock early ‘70s. Lisa and her band The Secret History, which just released its debut EP, “Desolation Town,” on indie label, Le Grand Magistery. Headed by Michael Grace, who met Ronson at an Irish speak-easy in New York’s East Village, the band’s music is dramatic: an Arcade Fire inspired operetta...

It was the last Beatles album to be released in both stereo and mono versions. This pressing is in mono. The auction has one week to go...
Reverse Dashboard Confessional, anyone? The punk-gone-acoustic Where's The Band? Tour, next winter, features solo acoustic performances by the frontmen of four punk/emo groups: Dustin Kensue (of Thrice), Matt Pryor (of The Get Up Kids), Chris Conley (of Saves The Day) and Anthony Raneri (of Bayside). The four will cross the country for a run of headline shows, sharing the van and, perhaps, sharing the stage with each other for a uniquely intimate, and possibly emotional, evening. Tickets go on sale Nov. 21.
