November  8, 2009-Apparently rest does Andy Murray good as he easily won the final of the Valenica tennis event by defeating Russian Mikhail Youzhny by a lopsided score of 6-3, 6-2.

Once broken in the fourth game, Youzhny looked fatigued as Murray, the British number one and world number four took just over an hour to claim his sixth title of the season.

After six weeks out because of a left wrist injury that he aggravated on Davis Cup duty, Murray won his eighth indoor title of the year.

This was Murray's 14th career title at the tennis Valencia Open. Murray will next week play in the BNP Paribas Masters, before heading to the season-ending ATP Tour World Final in London.
