Some people's behavior is a sicking as the shooter at Fort Hood. This national tragedy that unfolded at Fort Hood on Thursday, has brought out the very best in some people, while the very worst in others.

At the scene of this horrific event soldiers and civilians alike risk their own lives to save the lives of others.

Soldiers and civilians alike were wounded trying to save others that had previously been shot.

Soldiers and civilians running to the sound of gunfire rather than away from it. Heroics demonstrated by so many people trying to save the fallen.

It was civilian police officer that exchanged gunfire with the suspect. Though wounded the female officer fell the suspect with four of her own rounds.

A civilian contractor from Spokane, Washington rushed to help fallen soldiers. He paid for his valiant efforts with his life.

Over and over we hear stories of brave actions taken by both military as well as civilians, facing gunfire to help those already shot.

Our prayer go out to the victims, their families in addition to all of soldiers at Fort Hood.

Our gratitude goes out to all that responded to the call for help. Those that ran to the sound of gunfire, rather than away.

Sadly, as is always the case, there are those who have seized this tragic event to push forth their own hateful racism. To accuse, threaten, and harass innocent Muslims living peacefully in America.

It's fair to ask and look at the possibility that this was a terrorist act. It's not fair, reasonable, or legal, to threaten people because of your racist belief.

People that seize this opportunity to attack the President of the United States for being born of a Muslim father, are sick little goose stepping racist!

Weather they are anchor people at networks, or paid talking heads for the Neo-conservatives right wing of the wounded elephant. These people are racist and should be branded as such.

They stoup to the lowest level by attacking the President rather than standing with him. As every real American should stand behind him in the hours of this attack on our nations finest young men and women.

People that are confused about the Commander and Chief of the Armed Forces of America, need only listen to this speech to understand this man's love for America and love for the men and women of the Armed Services.

I'm sure that sttewill drive the hate mongers nuts.

At the time of this attack our President had directed a meeting to be held looking into the problem of  mental health issues within our military.

The President that created this nightmare did not do anything for the men and women he'd placed in harms way. Exceot to get thousands killed!

George Bush and Dick Chaney's wars are creating more soldier victims of (PTSD) Post Traumatic Stress Disorder,  and (TBI)Traumatic Brain Injury, than any conflict in our nations history.

Wow a President that is trying to figure out a solution to a problem isn't that a novel concept.

The hate mongers that are dying inside because they were defeated by a man of color will seize anything to attack the President.

Racist, sick, little, insignificant people that they are, shame on them.

I have recently had a stroke that has resulted in some seizures. At times I make grammar errors as I don't always have someone available to proof read these articles, before I have to submit them.
