A cab driver was shot Wednesday morning near Northwest 95th Street and Seventh Avenue.

"The victim was shot, but he is in critical but stable condition," said Rebecca Perez, a spokesperson for the Miami-Dade Police Department.

The subject was described as a 15- to 16-year-old black male, about 5-feet-6-inches tall and 120 pounds.  He fled the scene on foot wearing shorts and a black T-shirt, according to police officials.

This is the second time this week that a Miami cab driver has been robbed at gunpoint.

"It is what is is," said an onlooker waiting for the bus.
