Upcoming movie Orphan creates controversy

Poster: Warner Brothers Pictures
Warner Brothers is set to release Orphan on July 24, 2009. The horror film is about a couple who loses their unborn child and adopts a nine-year old orphan named Esther. Criticism has come from many groups who cite a negative portrayal of older adopted children.
Warner Brothers, in response to public outcry, has already made changes to the movie trailer as reported here by Charlotte International Adoption Examiner Cathy Doheny.
