'Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day' will have a limited U.S. release at select locations on Friday, October 30th.

The original 'Boondock Saints' movie, also directed by Troy Duffy, has earned a cult following and has cultivated discussion in the Irish American community. The protagonists are two Irish Catholic brothers--would-be working class heroes living in Boston.

Due to a series of inadvertant circumstances, the MacManus brothers become local vigilantes, offing members of the mob. When a priest is killed in Boondock Saints II, the brothers take action.

Both the original film and its sequel are popular with some Irish Americans and youth in general. Full of excessive violence and Irish humor, the 'Saints' films have generated discussion on whether the films perpetuate negative Irish stereotypes.

The trailer itself for 'Boondock Saints 2' is rated 'R.' Fans all over the country are complaining that the release is too limited and select. Regardless of the quality of the film or the stereotypes involved, it promises to be popular among fans.
