Here is a list of the Michael Jackson tunes Nashville area instructors use for their workouts.

Spin instructors recommend the following:

Dirty Diana - For hard climbs on the bike this slow vibe with an intense  beat will motivate cyclist up those hills.

Pretty Young Thing - This song motivates exerciser to get moving with it's fun rhythm.

Beat It - This is an edgy, explosive hit perfect for fast paced spinning.

Who's Bad - A wildly popular hit that pusher cyclist to go the extra mile.

Spin Instructor, Gregg Johnson, who teaches at Nissan, Dell, and Nashville Athletic Club, swears by his Michael Jackon playlist.  "When I use Michael Jackson music I burn more calories.  I just flat out work harder." 

Body Sculpting and Resistance Trainer like:

Smooth Criminal - This medium-paced beat provides a strong backdrop for bicep curls, leg lunges, and squats.

Thriller - The chorus of this fun is energetic and motivating.

Biilie Jean -  This song is credited as being the right tune for situps and crunches.

Stephanie, at the Maryland Farms YMCA in Brentwood, uses her Michael Jackson playlist, including a modern remix of Wanna Be Starting Something.  Her Ultimate Circuit class gets an extra boost of energy to finish up an intense medicine ball workout. 

Cardio- step class or a run on the treadmill

Working Day and Night - Here is an up-tempo, dance tune that also has a feel-good montra.

Don't Stop Tell You Get Enough - This song has a strong, infectious rhythm that motivates exerciser to move faster.

Wanna be Starting Something  - Unique lyrics and fun rhymes will get the exercise party started!
