Celebrations come in all shapes and sizes: winning a sporting event, graduating from high school, or even just learning to write in cursive. Now through the help of parents of young children living in Kansas and throughout the country, the Fetal Hope Foundation is organizing a “Celebration of Hope”. The “celebration” involves the creation of an annual calendar, which the foundation produces as a fundraiser. The assistance the foundation needs from parents is as easy as a click…of a camera. The foundation is looking for photos of multiples who were affected by a fetal syndrome in utero, and who are now shining examples of the power of “hope”.
Aligned with some of the world’s leading fetal medicine centers, Fetal Hope Foundation provides accurate and factual information for families dealing with syndromes and distresses such as Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS), Acardiac Twinning (TRAP sequence), Amniotic Band Syndrome (ABS), Intrauterine Growth Restriction (IUGR), Selective Intrauternine Growth Restriction (SIUGR), Fetal Lower Urinary Tract Obstruction (LUTO) and many other fetal distresses and syndromes. The organization centers its work around the byword of “hope”, noting that “no family should ever be left without hope”.
Parents who would like to submit photos for the organization’s “Celebration of Hope” are asked to email high quality photos, along with their child/children's name(s), age(s) in photo, fetal syndrome by which they were affected, and the city of residence.
Send all information to Fetal Hope Foundation on or before October 30.
