The carefree, lazy days of Summer call for wedding hair styles that compliment the feeling. No tight, perfectly polished coifs seen here, only breezy and beautifully chic ones.

A lot of the time when you think about Summer you rarely think about completely down, un-done hair. Not the case this year! Warm weather waves are back, bringing a little glam into the mix. This flowing, loose look is perfect for the bride with a casual wedding in mind (i.e. beach weddings, garden extravaganzas) who wants that ever-popular touch of old Hollywood glam injected into her look. This style is achieved by using a medium-barrel curling iron to curl the bottom section of the hair only and finger-combing the curls out to create a loose, tousled look. This style is perfect for any length of hair.

For the bride who wants a more classic coif circa 1940's starlets, curls and bobby pins are all she needs. These types of styles are fabulous for a country club, formal outdoor affair and keeps the bride nice and cool on a steamy summer day. A look like this can be achieved by parting hair to one side and blow drying. Following this, a small curling iron should be used, focusing on the ends only so the top remains smooth. Twist and pull hair back, randomly bobby pinning wherever necessary. This look is perfect for shoulder length to shorter hairstyles.

And for the chic, stylish and sophisticated bride, an up-do is anything but boring. Think Heidi Klum's sleek bun at the Oscar's in 2008. The selling point of this style is it's height at the crown, giving it an element of glamour and elegance. This look is perfect for a dramatic evening wedding and for the bride who craves high-fashion...literally. To achieve this sky-high, sleek number, hair needs to be pulled into a mid-level ponytail. The underside of the ponytail needs to be back-combed and rolled into a chignon shape, pinned and hair sprayed. This style is perfect for the long-locked bride.

There are also a lot of brides who want to do their hair on their own and this next style is perfect and easy in a pinch- a low ponytail. No products need to be used so this look is perfect for the budget-savvy bride. Start with clean tresses and blow hair out, lightly curling the ends just as the first style. Keeping hair close to the neck, pull into a low ponytail and finish off by wrapping a light-weight scarf or silk piece around the base.
