As the day of our independence fast approaches, people are making plans on how to spend their 4th of July. Where you live in Madison County will determine if you can shoot off fireworks at your home or will need to attend an organized event. In the city limits of Huntsville and Madison it is illegal to shoot off fireworks; therefore, if you live within the city limits make plans to attend some of the fun events planned for this year. Two of these fun Fourth of July events are located at Bridge Street Towne Centre and Dublin Park.

Fireworks are planned at Bridge Street Towne Centre in Huntsville on July 4th. The Fourth of July events at Bridge Street Towne Centre will benefit the National Children’s Advocacy Center. There will be live entertainment throughout the day and the fireworks are planned to start at 8:45pm next to Sports Authority.

In Madison, Dublin Park will once again host the Fourth of July festivities for Madison City. Starting at 1:00pm, there will be free inflatable activities which include a 70 foot obstacle course, a 62 foot water slide, and a children's circus train. The firework show will start after dark.
