I’m reading an awesome book right now, and I had to tell you about it. The Money Book for the Young, Broke, and Fabulous by Suze Orman is the book du jour for post graduate peeps with any of the following situations:
• Student loan debt
• Credit card debt
• Non-existent or Chihuahua-sized savings account
• Not so sure what the eff a Roth IRA is, how your FICO score affects your interest rate on a car loan
There’s lots of personal finance advice out there. Everyone has a different perspective on what you should be saving, spending, and investing. What’s nice is that this book doesn’t make you feel stupid about not knowing the details that the adults think are common sense. I’d say, it was $16 well-spent.
