L.A loses two players in the expansion draft

Midfielder Katie Larkin goes to Atlanta with the 6th pick in the WPS Expansion Draft. The Photo By Robert MoraUtah native had 14 appearances for the Sol and started in 5 matches.  Larkin will be joined by defender Sharolta Nonen who was picked in the second round (8th overall). Nonen returns to Atlanta after playing for the Beat for 3 years in the WUSA. Nonen appeared twice in a Sol uniform last season.

Each team was able to protect 10 players although those players were not revealed.
