Free MoChip to safeguard children
By Melina Ann Collison
St. Louis -- Missouri Freemasons and the Florissant Police Department are teaming up in a Missouri Identification and Protection Program (MoChip).
The benefits of this program is that if your child ever comes up missing or abducted then you have a digital copy of your child’s fingerprints, photo, dental bite impression, child’s information, emergency numbers, and 2 laminated ID cards.
All of this information is given to you on completion of the process. No child’s information is kept by the Missouri Freemasons or Florissant Police Department.
Remember this event is free of charge. Typically the process takes 15-20 minutes and children of all ages are welcome.
Saturday, October 1 is when the event is being held. The site will be the James J. Eagan Civic Center. Please feel free to contact the Florissant Police Public Information at 1-314-830-6042 or MoChips website
