Women's Self Defense Class By Heraldpost
St. Louis -- Florissant Police Officer Ed Sharp, a defensive tactics instructor, will be teaching one more free self defense class this season at the Florissant Civic Center. 
 
The class will include focusing on increasing you personal safety awareness, physical fitness, reporting procedures of suspicious acts, and hands on training of self defense techniques. 
 
Sessions will be held every Thursday for 2 hours over the period of 4 weeks at the James J. Eagan Civic Center. Multiple safety issues will be addressed.
 
Register early because the class is limited to 20 people and is first come first serve.  
 
Call the Florissant Police Department’s Crime Prevention Unit, Sgt. Kevin Boschert, at 1-314-830-6042 or the James J. Eagan Civic Center at 1-314-921-4466 to register.
