Learn how to use Twitter for PR

A panel of social media experts will talk about how to use Twitter in public relations on Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the U.S. Navy Memorial and Heritage Center in Washington, DC (Metro: Archives).  The event is presented by the National Capital Chapter of the Public Relations Society America.  Tickets are $35 for PRSA and WWPR members, $55 for non-members and $10 for students and retirees. Register in advance on the PRSA-NCC web site.

 

Panelists include

  • Michael Pranikoff, director of emerging media, PR Newswire
  • Susan Cato, director web and new media strategy, Biotechnology Industry Organization
  • Susan E. Jacobsen, President, LUV2XLPR
  • Mike Holden, American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence

The panel will be moderated by Debbie Friez, vice president, BurrellesLuce and co-chair, PRSA-NCC Professional Development Committee.
