Do you live in the northeast, or are you visiting the New York City area? If you happen to hit the city this summer, please do visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art.The  fee that you pay per person for a day's visit, is well worth the cost! Go early in the day, and plan to stay, so you will see as much as possible. Plan ahead, by visiting the Met site. Take the time to explore the information. The site is well organized, and easy to use. The Met is a fabulous place for children, about 6 years on up, if you plan the day.

Central Park is a fantastic day's walk! Check the weather report, and go for a walk in the park! Pack a lunch, carry water, and wear good walking shoes. You are going to want to carry your camera! The sites and sounds of  Central Park are amazing! The art in the park is free to see, and will not disappoint! The paths throughout the park are laid out so that you have interesting surprises around nearly every corner. Statues, sculptures, the gates, and the buildings in the park, are all beautiful! And don't miss the Central Park Zoo!

The evening in the city turns on a wonderous light show all around you. Horse and carraiges clip clop along the city streets around the park edges. The city sparkles as the sun goes down.
