Remember the first horror movie you sneaked-in to see at the movie theater that made you sleepless for days? Or how about that one time where you hid behind the couch when your siblings were watching the late night horror movie on cable? Well, here’s your chance to relive those great (or frightening) memories as The Strand in Marietta Square brings back those classics to the big screen.

Starting Thursday, October 22 through Saturday, October 31, The Strand will be screening “Halloweekendz” movies. The coolest part of the screening is you get a chance to hear an organ player for a pre-show sing-a-long 30 minutes prior to the show in the newly-restored theater. Tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors/students. Below is the schedule:

Thursday, October 22
7 p.m. – Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954, Jack Arnold, Rated G)
10 p.m. – 28 Days Later… (2002, Danny Boyle, Rated R)
