A proposal being considered by Houston City Council to raise the amount for parking fees at Houston airports was "tagged" by 5 of the City Council Members. Councilpersons Johnson, Rodriguez, Adams, Khan, and Jones requested that a tag be placed on this item.

According to Houston City Ordinance,

"Whenever any motion other than a procedural motion, resolution or ordinance...is presented for the first time to the city council, a council member may tag such matter for a period of one week..."

"A council member may exercise a tag at any time before voting on the matter has been completed. "
