DJ Hero – PS2, PS3, Wii, XBOX 360: Published by Activision Blizzard
If the plethora of guitar and band centered games have started to feel a little stale, then DJ hero is the cure for the complacency. Set up the plastic turntable and mix up some sick tunes as the club bumps and grinds to the beats being laid out. It’s a fresh take on the music game model and offers up awesome new musical concepts like mash-ups, and if Glee has taught the world anything it is that mash-ups are the bomb. DJ Hero is not only a great game, it is a revitalizing agent for a genre that was starting to decay.
Fairytale Fights – PS3, XBOX 360: Published by Playlogic
Let’s face it, taking something that’s supposed to be sweet and innocent and turning it into something gruesome offers a sick comedic experience for some of us. This game is for those people. Hack and slash the way through levels of cutesy little fairytale creatures and make certain that the specific storylines at hand are never remembered the same saccharine sweet way again.

Fans of the series should definitely check it out, but people who dislike the franchise probably won’t be swayed by this title.
Tekken 6 – PS3, XBOX 360: Published by Namco Bandai Games America
Fighting games used to be a dime a dozen. Now gamers just want more out of their fifty to sixty bucks. That’s why any fighting game that comes out nowadays needs to be pretty awesome and when that game comes from a long line of successful predecessors it’s even more important to truly shine.
