Most foodies enjoy not only dining out, but also whipping up their own creations in their own kitchens, and when it comes to cooking, who better to look to than the Food Network? The Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show will take place November 7-8 at the Washington Convention Center and will feature Food Network stars Paula Deen, Giada De Laurentiis, Guy Fieri, Tyle Florence, and the Neelys. There also will be over 250 exhibits, live cooking demonstrations, and workshops.

General admission is $20/person; Celebrity tickets range from $45-74.50/person (includes general admission to all the exhibits). To purchase tickets, click here.

There will be a Domino Sugar Just For Kids Area and for $30, your child will make his or her own creation during a 90-minute cooking class. For times and classes, click here.

For adults, there will be several areas for beer, wine, and spirits tastings and pairings, including food and wine pairings with Chef Terri Cutrino of DC's Cafe Atlantico. For more information, click here.

Make the trip to the Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show this weekend for an educational and fun experience. Who knows, you may just learn something new!
