Microsoft Outlook has a feature that allows you to automatically delete mail by subject, sender and other criteria. This can come in handy for mail that can be potentially dangerous.
The feature is contained in the "create rule" menu option that is seen when you right click on a message. It can also be accessed through Tools, then Rules and Alerts. The first method is more intuitive as it starts with an email and builds the rule from there.
Let's say you are always getting a mail message that has the subject, "Call right now for your degree". You get these every day and you spend time deleting them by hand because they are SPAM. This rule will automatically send the message to the Deleted mail folder. They still must be removed from this folder by choosing "Empty deleted items" from the right click menu.

Right click on the message and select "Create Rule". You will now see the create rule dialog box. The words "Call right now for your degree" are already in the subject specific box. Click on the check box next to the subject contains label. Click the Advanced Options button.

Check the box to the left of the words delete it.
Click next. Then click next again. There are no other options needed for this simple rule. Any other options may make the rule miss some of the mail you want to delete.

On the next dialog box, name the rule if you wish, or accept the pre-set name. Click Finish at the bottom.
Your rule has been created. The mail with this subject will go directly to the deleted items folder. You will no longer get pop ups for Junk mail on the subject listed.
There is a limit to the rules you can create, so it is beneficial if you can create rules that cover large blocks of mail.
