Two St. Clair Shores attorneys reinstated pending appeal

The State of Michigan Attorney Discipline Board reports that St. Clair Shores attorneys Walter l. Baumgardner, Jr. and Ralph E. Musilli are reinstated to the practice of law, pending appeal, effective November 6, 2009.
An Attorney Discipline Board hearing panel ordered that both Baumgardner and Musilli be suspended for a period of 30 days effective October 13, 2009, with credit given for six days for time served in the Oakland County Jail. The suspensions were based on convictions for criminal contempt in the Oakland County Circuit Court.
The Grievance Administrator filed petitions for review seeking increased discipline. The matters are currently on review before the Attorney Discipline Board.
