The Epiphone Tony Iommi SG-400 is an awesome guitar. Even though this guitar is an Epiphone - and there have been some questionable quality issues in recent Epiphones - the Tony Iommi one is still great.
I have heard from a few acquaintances who tried out this guitar, and they say it still gives off its great quality with its signature pickups. Tony Iommi, if you don't know, is known as the godfather of metal. He is a part of Black Sabbath and has been in Black Sabbath since the band's inception in 1968. Tony Iommi is known for making many signature licks such as Iron Man (www.youtube.com/watch) and Paranoid (www.youtube.com/watch).
Iommi has influenced many people and his Epiphone Signature Sg-400 captures his signature sound, just plug it into an amp put up your horns and go wild.
The Tony Iommi SG-400 has a mahagony wood body with an ebony finish with black hardware. It also has special fast neck which has crosses in the third, fifth, seventh, ninth, and twelveth fret. This guitar has an awesome finish and stays in tune for a long time. The pickups are hot and can be used for more than just Black Sabbath tunes. This guitar is fashioned after a legendary man for legendary action. I would advise everyone to get this guitar if you are into metal and need a cheap practice guitar or even a show guitar.
This guitar is only $600 dollars at Guitar Center Here. $600 is a lot of money, but for a guitar like this its a steal. This guitar makes at least a 1.5 grand sound and many not be out for much longer, there are times when Gibson takes out great guitars after the guitar has been out for a long time. The Gibson Les Paul 60s neck was an awesome guitar but Gibson took it out. The Tony Iommi Epiphone has been out for a while and may not be out for much longer so I suggest you grab this great guitar as soon as possible.
