The Mediterranean Experience Miami Expo  , a food and wine related trade show at the Miami Beach Convention Center, opens to the public from 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday, May 30.

General admission tickets are $35 per person and include access to all 150 exhibitors’ booths, and to seminars delving into culinary and tourism topics such as the Mediterranean diet and socioeconomic development, and  first annual The Food Magazine Wine Challenge.

The entire tourism and gastronomy expo spans three days, from May 28 through May 30.  Some 5,000 industry professionals and 150 exhibitors are expected to attend.

Founded in 2005, the Mediterranean Experience Miami Expo was created to stimulate international business growth between Europe and North America. The 2009 Expo is being held in partnership with CAMACOL, the largest Hispanic business organization in Florida.
