Audi is set to reveal an electric vehicle

On Wednesday, September 2nd, just moments before I began writing this article, Audi of America posted a link on their Facebook account that linked to the site www.electricityuntamed.com and a note that says "On September 15th, 2009, electricity will run untamed."
In addition to citing facts about electricity like the fact that lightening is five times hotter than the surface of the sun, the website, pictured below, sports a social media aggregating area, some electricity-related videos and a ticker, counting down to the September 15th launch date. A pretty simple site, but one that's fairly well executed (although I did see a few bugs) and that builds interest and curiosity into what Audi is up to.
Stay tuned for more. Could this be a Tesla-eating machine in the works? We'll see.
