The host of several NASCAR races every year, Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte, N.C. is a camper friendly track. Lowe’s provides shuttles for campers that run to showers and to the track on race day. There are many options here for campers. Lowe’s Motor Speedway sponsors the following campgrounds for both RV and tent camping (no-hookups).

 

Tom Johnson’s Morehead Farms (Turn 2)
Klondike Campground (Turns 3 & 4)
Tom Johnson’s Peninsula (Entrance P)
Rock City (Burton Smith Blvd.)
Tim Flock (Between Turns 1 and 2)
Fleetwood Camping Resort (6550 Speedway Blvd)

Infield Track Camping

You can camp inside the Lowe’s Motor Speedway Loop with your self-contained RV or tent (no-hookups). Rates vary for location from tents in the South Infield at $75 to a 20x40 foot spot on the North Infield Fenceline for $175. Yates Family Camping

This Good Sam’s Campground has 40 RV spots, 20 of which are full hook-ups and there is plenty of tent camping available. They are pet friendly, offer free wireless internet services, and just a short walk to the Lowe’s Motor Speedway.
