Kindle is now available with wireless capability for both U.S. and international use. Amazon announced it has dropped the price of the Kindle from $299 to a new low price of $259 for the U.S. wireless. This version is available at Amazon immediately.

The international wireless is available at $279 for preorders. The international wireless version ships in two weeks.

Kindle uses the same type of 3G wireless technology as more advanced cell phones which means searching for wireless service is not necessary.
