Vogel Dairy is an organic dairy just 20 minutes south of Indianapolis.  Located in Franklin, Indiana it is an easy drive from the city and very worth it.   Their address is 1170 West State Road 44; Franklin, IN  46131.  The farm itself is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm.  They have meats, dairy and produce.  You may view their website here.

You may order beef, chicken or hogs from them.  You could go by the farm and by the meat by the cut or you can also order a whole, half or quarter of a cow or pig.  You will have to make a deposit and it usually takes a few weeks for processing.

Their eggs are very reasonably priced at $2.50 for organic eggs.  You can e-mail them at vogelenterprises@netscape.com or call them at 317-695-7863.  They also offer farm tours for you and your children.  Just call ahead to schedule an appointment.  They are also at the Greenwood Farmers Market.

If you stop by, just pull in the drive and the front building is where they have their produce, beef and dairy products.  The owner is very nice and she is very glad to chat with you and answer any questions.
