Have you been thinking about trying to buy more organic produce or maybe buying grass fed beef? Are you just not sure how to get started? Indianapolis has a lot of great resources to buy organic.
Farm Fresh Delivery is an organic delivery service. They deliver organic produce to your door (if you live in their delivery service area) or to your place of business. Not only do they have produce, but they will also deliver some grocery items and most of them are from local sources.
Hoosier Grass Fed beef is a place where you can buy a whole, half or a quarter of a cow. The beef is frozen and available for pick up from the processors.
Looking for free range chicken, check out Simpson Farm Market. They sell free range chickens and they have also just recently started selling pork as well. Their farm is located in Martinsville but they also have drop off locations on Indy's south side.
Go to Local Harvest for many other local resources. Going organic is not as difficult as some may think. Many grocery stores now also sell organic produce. I would encourage you to get your organics from local sources, but when that is not possible, grocery stores are the next best thing.
