Farmers Markets 101: Where can I find farmer markets in Johnson County, Indiana?

You do not just have to go to the grocery store to get your produce. Support your local farmers and check out your local farmers market.
The Greenwood Farmers Market is located in the Greenwood Public Library parking lot. It is open on Wednesday's from 2:30 p.m.-6 p.m. and also on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.
The Franklin Farmers Market is located in the Johnson County Courthouse Square. It is open from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday's.
If you are around Whiteland, visit Taylors Farm Market. It is located at 2434 E 750 N in Whiteland. They have all of the produce you would want including tomatoes, green beans, corn, watermelons and many other items. They are open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays. They are also open limited hours on Saturday.
There are also a few orchards that sell produce and other items. If you are in Whiteland, you may visit Whiteland Orchard located at 5559 N. Graham Road. They are open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. They have fresh produce and herbs as well.
If you are close to Trafalger, you must visit Apple Works. It is a beautiful place to visit. It also includes a petting zoo and a store. Apple Works is located at County Road 250 West; Trafalgar, Indiana. They have fresh produce in the summer. They are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. everyday.
