According to Crystal Palace Baltimore's official website, the club will be joining a new professional outdoor league that is scheduled to begin play in April 2010.

The new league will feature nine teams, including the Carolina Railhawks, Miami F.C., Minnesota Thunder, Montreal Impact, and the Vancouver Whitecaps, all of whom played in USL-1 this past season. A name for the new league is expected to be announced next week.

A search for a full-time commissioner has begun, and the new league is also planning to launch an extensive marketing campaign in the months to come.
