November 21 is set aside as National Adoption Day a special day set aside to celebrate the families, workers and volunteers that make an adoption possible. 

While many adoptive families in Houston may be celebrating this day with their own Adoption Celebration Party there are also events happening in the Houston area. 

Last year on National Adoption Day 45 children were adopted here in Houston. The courthouse celebration included cupcakes and teddy bears after judges in the Harris County Juvenile Court approved the new parents. 

Special Events in Houston for National Adoption Day

Houston's Downtown Aquarium

November 21st from 10am to 5pm at Houston's Downtown Aquarium for a National Adoption Day Celebration! Families who print and bring their All Day Adventure Pass  will be able to purchase a pass regularly priced at $15.99, for only $5 per person! The pass grants unlimited access to Shark Voyage, Aquarium Adventure Exhibit, Ferris Wheel and Carousel.
