Halloween family fun: Boo on the Kemah Boardwalk

Maybe one of the best things about living in a big city is the variety of opportunities for family fun that are available. In Houston, Texas families are not only introduced to a wealth of festivals for all interests but also several howling good times in the area to celebrate Halloween. 

 

One place you may want to take your family to get into the Halloween "spirit" is Boo on the Boardwalk, located right outside Houston and on the Kemah Boardwalk. 

 

Fast Facts about Boo on the Boardwalk

 

When: Oct. 1-31 2009 

Times: Mon.-Thurs. 6-10 p.m.

Fri. 6-11 pm

Sat. 2 pm. to 12 midnight

Sun. 2-10 pm 

Special Event:  Oct. 22 and 29 Children's Costume Contest at 5 pm with prizes to the 10 best costumes.

In addition to the amazing and family fun filled dining, shopping, arcades and rides that are a normal part of a visit to the Kemah Boardwalk, Boo on the Boardwalk offers: 

 

  • The "Dungeon of Doom" haunted house
  • "spooktacular" entertainment (including live bands)
  • costume contests 
  • trick or treating
  • pumpkin decorating
