"Say it to my face!"

Attention Buffy fans who were strictly watching the show for Faith: Hometown girl, Eliza Dushku is in Boston filming an independent thriller, Valediction. The premise of the film follows a father's battle to save his daughter's life after a car accident, only to discover it's his life he's saving. How this will play out is open to speculation. Ben Barnes and Brenda Fricker also star.

Dushku flew into Logan on Saturday. The actress, aside from her recurring role on Joss Whedon's Dollhouse,  is also a producer at Boston Diva Productions. Some of the filming for Valediction takes place at Whiskey Park at the Park Plaza Hotel and Arlington Street. According to Loaded Gun, both Dushku and Barnes filmed a Christmas Party scene today. There's no word from the locals as to whether anyone got to meet with Dushku and other members of the cast.

The actress has been keeping her fans updated on the status of filming and the day to day grind via her Twitter feed. There are no reports so far, regarding when the film will be set for theaters. A thriller in this vain will be bringing Dushku back to roots most of her fans are familiar with. For five years she portrayed the anti-Buffy. A slick, darker...sometimes moodier slayer who's troubled past set her on a path to being Buffy's antagonist.

Faith eventually redeemed herself (on Angel and in the BTVS: Season 8 comic books).
