Many ask: What will contact with extraterrestrials look like?
In the movies, contact with extraterrestrials is usually portrayed as a singular, unmistakable event. The main character comes face-to-face with a being that is clearly not human. There is a moment of shock, but then wonder and excitement (or in some cases, terror) set in. As our mass consciousness has evolved from the overt “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” to the subtle of “Contact”, so has our experience of what contact means. More and more people are having close encounters of a more ethereal kind: in dreams, vague memories or being driven to learn everything about ETs. While less shocking to the psyche, this ethereal contact leaves people asking themselves, “What just happened?” or “Am I being contacted by extraterrestrials?” or “What is ET contact?”
For those who have found themselves scouring the Internet for scraps of information on ET contact – you are not alone. Although not the kind of material that makes headline news, several million people world-wide are beginning to feel the pull towards uncovering the mystery of contact. Unlike Richard Dreyfuss’ all-consuming obsession in Close Encounters, these people are going about their lives as husbands and wives, parents, teachers, engineers, bus drivers and waiters.
However, like Dreyfuss, the topic of ETs becomes at least an often-considered notion. This is the first indication of ET contact. If you are inexplicably drawn to ET literature, conferences, speakers, etc., ipso facto, you have had ET contact. These contacts can be the kind portrayed in the movies – a vivid, corporeal event, or alternately something so ephemeral as to be nearly imperceptible.
What does this mean? You are being called to respond.
To what level, it is up to you.
