Say it's a Wednesday night after a hard day at work in the middle of our hot and sticky summer. You don't want to stay home and watch So You Think You Can Dance. Maybe you're in the mood for dinner out with a bit of entertainment but you don't feel like dressing up and you ARE in the mood for a Rum Runner. How about Vortex Bar and Grill in Little Five Points?

Stepping into Vortex is pretty much like stepping into a paused tornado. There's all kinds of madness hanging off the ceiling and on the walls. Also the shape and size of the place....well let's just say it's very intimate.

Every Wednesday night, feel free to treat yourself to a really tasty $7.00 hamburger and tater tots while being entertained by the musical stylings of Ozlo.   The mood is really laid back, hippie-fringe with potty mouths being both accepted and celebrated. Additionally, you can score a cocktail for $6.00. (Eat your heart out $7.00 Corona at Bellagio Hotel and Casino!)
