Latin melodies at Loca Luna.

Are you 30+ and looking for something grown and sexy to do tonight? Maybe you want to go out with that special someone in your life and get dolled up without being in the company of the foolishly young. Well, here are a few suggestions for activities in Atlanta catering to the discriminating 30-something  reveller.

It's been suggested before, but one can never get enough jazz in their lives at Churchill Grounds @ 660 Peachtree St. NE. (404) 876-3030. Tonight there will be a jazz quintet featuring  trumpeter Melvin Jones. Ladies, put on a nice dress a la Billie Holiday. Gents, pretend you're Miles Davis and throw on some slacks. Cover is $10. This spot offers a cozy, sleek atmosphere, cocktails, appetizers and dinner.

Do your stretches and work those hips with a bit of salsa at Loca Luna @ 550 Amsterdam AVE NE. (404) 875-4494. It's so cool. This venue offers wonderful tapas and plenty of dining space because it attracts a very large and mixed crowd. However, there are no knuckleheads in the mix. Instead there will be lots of couples swinging their way around the dance floor in front of the fabulous Orquesta MaCuba latin band. (Latin Sol is on tonight.) Things get fired up at 9pm. Since there is no cover, you may want to get there early.

Finally, for partying perfection check out Utopia Cajun & Tapas Lounge @ 840 Marietta Street. (404) 898-8788. Join a sophisticated crowd of adults dancing in three different rooms with three different atmostpheres. It's a J. Carter party, so it's not going to disappoint. The party starts at 10pm. Dress it up. Make sure the shoes are both stylish and comfortable. Drink plenty of water before hand.
