WarmShowers.org offers free lodging for bicycle tourists worldwide

Touring cross country by bicycle can be more expensive than using a car if you stay in motels every night. Camping is a good option but sometimes you just want a warm shower to wash off the sweat and grime after a long day of bicycle touring. In steps WarmShowers.org.

WarmShowers offers you the ability to network with people who will offer you the chance to stay at their home for free. They may offer you a bed, a couch, a place on the floor to lay out your sleeping bag or maybe just allow you to camp in their front yard with a warm shower n the morning.

Many people who allow you to stay in their homes are bicycle tourists or just generous individuals who like to talk with bicycle tourists. In order to sign up to use WarmShowers then you must also list your home as a place for cyclists to stay when passing by.
