Making your own cycling cap or skull cap is can be very rewarding. You get to choose exactly the colors you want to use. I recommend using scrap material until you hvae  made a couple cycling hats. Once you get a feel for it and they start looking and feeling like you want then go ahead and buy some fabric that you would like to use.

One of the benfits of making your own cycling cap is the pride and satisfcqtion you will get from sewing your own cycling hat. Anothr benefit is you can be unique. Nobody else in the world will have a cycling cap like yours.

With just  a little practice you can be sewing cycling hats that look like they were professionaly done in a Chinese Sweatshop.

If you would rather buy a cycling hat then then take a look at Walz Cycling Caps. Walz is also a great site to get some design ideas for maikng your own cycling cap.

Other sites to Purchase Cycling Caps include Bicycling Hub and Cognition.

Here is A 10 miniute video on how to make your own cycling caps.
