While much of the U.S. is starting to feel cooler temperatures and the leaves are changing colors, Mother Nature hasn’t given Tampa that break. Afternoon highs in the low 90s and low in the upper 70s, feels more like the middle of summer than the beginning of fall. Actually our normal afternoon thunderstorms are acting more like summer now than they did in July and August.
This weather is forecasted to continue until MAYBE sometime next week, when a cold front could come through. But after all, how much would temperatures really drop: five degrees at the most. In about a month to maybe two months, the weather will be perfect and outside activities will resume where they left off in May.
Before we know it our friends in the North will have feet of snow to shovel through and we will have bright blue skies and warm temperatures to deal with. So over all, we really can’t complain, the first cold front really can’t be that far away right?
