Labor Day Weekend Forecast
The unofficial end to summer is here, what will the weather be like? This time of year there is a 40% chance of afternoon thunderstorms, with a high around 90 degrees and that appears to be the forecast for this weekend. In the areas where the rain doesn’t form, there will be plenty of sunshine.
Since it is the start of college football and many people will be out with other activities, remember to stay hydrated and use plenty of sunscreen. Pay close attention to the skies because they can turn nasty in minutes causing many to rush for cover.
In the tropics, Tropical Storm Erika made a complete formation yesterday. This should not be a problem this weekend but, will need to be watched next week since its future track is still up in the air. The three options for Erika are (1) die out over the mountains over Haiti (2) threaten the east coast of the United States or (3) go straight out to sea.
