If you’re a Santa Cruzan looking for a fun Sunday afternoon meal featuring fresh, local food – look no further. On Sunday, July 12 from 2-6pm, you can attend a farm-inspired BBQ right here in Aptos.

Blue Moon Organics and Verve Coffee Roasters are collaborating to present this event, which will include a variety of local meat, Blue Moon produce, and “coffee finger painting.” Adult tickets cost $30; ages 5-17 are $15 and kids under 5 are free. Click here for tickets.

Operating since 2004, Blue Moon is a family-owned farm that is excited to offer CSA shares to the public for the first time in 2009 (for anyone unfamiliar with the term, CSA is Community Supported Agriculture; customers typically purchase a season’s worth of produce when they commit to a farm). Blue Moon’s produce includes a variety of fruits and vegetables; they are most known for their strawberries.

Blue Moon is also having a September 12 event with Bonny Doon Vineyard; watch for a preview on that in the future.
