The event started October 14 and lasts until October 21; 88 restaurants are participating including several in Los Gatos and many in San Jose. The price is $35; other cities include Campbell, Santa Clara, and Los Altos. See menus here.

November 5: The 5th annual A Taste of Santa Cruz will be held from 5:30-9pm. Live auction items include a winemaker dinner for 12 at Silver Mountain Winery, a surf lesson with local legend Adam Replogle, and a weekend at the new Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego. Like the September 26 A Taste of Soquel event, ticket-buyers get to sample food and drinks from many restaurants and wineries – and the $30 admission goes to a good cause. A Taste of Santa Cruz helps provide grant funds for first time, low-income home-buyers in Santa Cruz County. More details soon!

November 6:
The 26th Annual Evening of Wine and Roses is a benefit wine and food festival for Pajaro Valley Community Health Trust; the location is the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds. A $50 admission fee enables guests to taste top wines from the Santa Cruz Mountains, sample gourmet hors d’oeuvres from area restaurants and caterers, enjoy fresh Pajaro Valley roses, and bid on exciting silent and live auction prizes. More details coming soon.
