Since the tragic and unexpected passing of Michael Jackson last week, college students have found it hard to escape his music. From clubs to bars to radio stations nationwide, the king of pop's greatest hits have been the soundtrack to our lives since his death.

As controversy continues to swell, with the Jackson family in the middle of a custody battle, Joe Jackson promoting his new record label, and never ending "he said, she said" about Jackson's past, it seems the story is never ending... Similar to his air play on the radio.

Though we might be sick of hearing about Jackson's death, his strange life and where his kids will eventually end up, we sure aren't sick of his music.

Since his death, Jackson's airplay is up 1735%.

In the U.S. MJ's biggest hits have been on constant rotation since Thursday with 'Billie Jean' being number one.

According to NME.com the top ten songs were:

1. ‘Billie Jean’
2. ‘Thriller’
3. ‘Rock With You’
4. ‘Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough’
5. ‘P.Y.T’
6. ‘Beat It’
7. ‘Man In the Mirror’
8. ‘Wanna Be Starting Somethin’
9. ‘The Way You Make Me Feel’
10.’ Human Nature’

Once known as the king of pop, Jackson is being dubbed the king of media because of his domination of the charts world wide.
