Mayor Daley has declared January 30, 2009 “ER Day” in Chicago, in honor of the long running NBC medical drama that was based in Chicago. Cast members of ER have been flying back and forth from Los Angeles to Chicago for 15 years to film scenes in the Windy City.
ER is in its last season and the crew making their last visit to Chicago. Cast members, including Executive Producer Christopher Culack, Noah Wyle, Parminder Nagra and David Lyons gathered to thank the citizens of Chicago for their hospitality throughout the 300 episode run of the series.
