Independence Day Fireworks North Shore of Chicago
Independence Day is celebrated by parades, patriotic music and fireworks that light the skies. The towns along the North Shore of the Chicago area offer a variety of family friendly fireworks shows. Following are the fireworks shows in the towns on

Evanston July 4
The Evanston fireworks ill be held at Clark Street Beach on the lakefront. The Palatine Concert Band will play patriotic favorites from 7:30 to 9:10 pm. The fireworks will be launched at 9:15 pm. There will be a parade earlier in the day at 2 pm.
Glencoe July 4
The Glencoe Fireworks are at Lakefront Park at 9 pm. Activities during the day includes a two mile fun run at 8 pm, and parade at 2 am and a 6:30 BBQ at the beach.
Glenview July 4
The Twilight Show begins at 7:30 pm and the fireworks show is at 9 pm. The fireworks show is synchronized to patriotic music. The Glenview fireworks are held at the Glenview Park District Golf Course.
Morton Grove July 4
There will be a Community Parade at 2:30 pm that starts at Central and Dempster and moves to Harrer Park. The fireworks show is held at the park at 9:30 pm.
Northbrook July 4
The festivities start with a parade at 2:30. The fireworks show at Techny Pakr begins at dusk.
Skokie July 4
The Fourth of July parade starts at noon and features marching bands, drill teams, clowns, tumblers, live animals, vintage automotives and more. The 3-D fireworks begin at dusk. The first 10,000 people get a free pair of 3-D glasses. Niles West High School.
Wilmette July 3
The festivities begin a 4 pm on Thursday, July 3, with Tastefest, a concert by Palatine Concert Band and more. The Grand Fireworks display is at 9:30 pm.
Winnetka July 4
The fireworks show is at 9:15 pm at Duke Child’s Field at Willow and Hibbard.
