Genesee Theatre in Waukegan is presenting “The Heroes of Woodstock on Friday night, July 31. Still Rockin’ Productions is presenting the only Chicagoland performance of the legendary rock musicians who performed at the historic rock concert in Woodstock in 1969. Mark your calendar to see Jefferson Starship, Canned Heat, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Country Joe McDonald and more. The concert is four hour extravaganza of rock music that celebrates the 40 year anniversary of the original Woodstock concert.

The Heroes of Woodstock features original performers from the most important event in rock music history who have joined 
together to tour the world in celebration of and tribute to “The Original Three Days of Peace & Music” that occurred at Yasgur’s Farm in Bethel, NY in August 1969. This official tour, licensed under Woodstock Ventures LC, is making its ONLY Chicagoland Appearance at the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan!

Country Joe McDonald will host event and perform as he did August 15 & 16, 1969.
